About the program

The program is targeted towards fresh and practicing engineers and is a unique golden opportunity for the management of Power Utilities to groom their bright executives with engineering background who are expected to move to key positions. The program lends special emphasis on specific power sector issues and ethos to give extra strength to the Indian Power Sector engineers to steer Power Sector of the country in these challenging times. The curriculum design and the learning process emphasize the development of students’ skills and abilities to apply management theories and concepts to live problems of electricity industry. This 2-Year ‘Program with a Difference’ has the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak for award of the Degree. The unique curriculum arrived at, after immense brainstorming has 70% inputs on General Management provided in regular MBA Programs of reputed business schools like IIMs/MDI and 30% on the Power Management. The first batch started from 11^th March 2002.
