NPTI, weaves formal education with industry oriented specialised skills to cater to the needs of Power Sector. In order to meet the need of trained personnel in the supervisory cadre, NPTI launched the first ever Post Diploma Course in Thermal Power Plant Engineering designed for diploma holders in Engineering at all its Regional Institutes. This course was launched in Oct’ 2000 and was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of Power.
